Message:
I’m Nikki Bonds, Marketing Manager for Lookout Software, developer of OfficeCalendar. We just stumbled upon your review of OfficeCalendar – thank you so much for the nice write-up! We are glad to hear your positive comments about OfficeCalendar.

However, I do have a few points of clarification I would like to make. We do currently offer customers an online access solution to their personal Outlook calendar, shared calendars, and group calendars with our “OfficeCalendar Online” solution (syncs your Microsoft Outlook data to a hosted online account). This does cost an extra $12 per year for each user (essentially, $1 per month per user). We feel this is a very reasonable fee given that our solution is “ad free”; and this small fee helps cover the cost of hardware, security, disk space, maintenance and enhancements of the service.

OfficeCalendar Online is a hosted service so no additional hardware is required. Also, I believe it’s worth mentioning that next month OfficeCalendar Online will additionally sync Outlook’s Contact and Task folders for online viewing as well. Thus, you will be able to view almost all of the data housed in your Microsoft Outlook database online from practically any computer, anywhere. You can see a preview of the new OfficeCalendar Online, as well as the other features scheduled in our next release, at http://www.officecalendar.com/resellers/v5preview.aspx.

Once again, thank for you recognizing our product, and we appreciate the thought and attention to detail you put into your review on Shared Calendar solutions.

Best regards,
Nikki Bonds
